Nunnery Wood Colts under 11’s Hornets side also attended the Basketball for their annual Christmas event. All players attended with many of their family and all can be seen in the photo with the basketball players. The Hornets and all of their family members enjoyed a full VIP treatment in the hospitality suite meeting all the players and coaching staff as well as all youngsters and players receiving a special present from Santa clause (can you guess who Santa is).

Fantastic recognition for all those who help make Nunnery Wood Colts FC the club it is, winning Club of the Year at the prestigious City of Worcester Sports Awards 2019. This award recognises all those who contribute to the running of our teams and help create the positive environment for our players.
Howard Peters Award for Outstanding Contribution
A huge congratulations to our very own Mark Saunders who won the Howard Peters Award for Outstanding Contribution to Sport. Marks dedication over the years has well and truly put girls football on the map in the area. Its thanks to Mark why Nunnery Wood Colts are at the very forefront when it comes to promoting girls football in Worcestershire.

Nunnery Wood Colts FC are calling all school year ones and year twos!
Free UEFA B qualified coaching session by West Bromwich Albion Youth coach.
Nunnery Wood Colts FC Development Centre every Saturday from 1pm-2pm at Blessed Edward School Astro pitch facility.
UEFA B Qualified West Bromwich Albion coaching sessions offer the best introduction to football for our new under 7s teams.
Access Blesseds facility via Evendine Close, WR5 2DB then onto the car park ahead.
We will be entering at least two u7s teams into local football leagues. Nunnery Wood club officials will be there on the day to answer questions should you have any.

NWCFC Hawks U16’s (year 11 in September)
The Hawks are looking for players to join the team.
We are a well established team playing in the Mercian League on Sunday afternoons. Our training sessions are held at Nunnery Wood High School on Wednesday evenings, 7-8pm. If you are interested please contact Ian on 07856 703684.

Calling all Year 2 Football Fans
If your child is in Year 2 (year 3 in September) and loves football, now is their chance to join a thriving new team here in Worcester.Nunnery Wood Colts is launching a new team for boys and girls and we are inviting new players to come and try it out. You don’t need to be experienced, just keen to learn and to play football.The team will play in the local league from September, with training throughout the Summer. Thenew team will be fully FA registered and all coaches are DBS checked.If you are interested, come to our taster sessions starting this Friday 19 th July at 6:30pm on Battenhall Field until Friday 9th August.Find our more and confirm your place by calling team coach, Steve Birch, on 07469 719720.
Nunnery Wood Girls Tournament 2019
The women’s world cup may be well way underway so it was great to see so many local and traveling teams competing in our first all girls Nunnery Wood Tournament. A big thankyou to all the teams that attended, in addition and the volunteers that helped on the day. A special mention to Mark Saunders for the hard work he has put in to develop girls football in the area and make this tournament possible.

Another fantastic tournament only made possible by our army of parents who help support our event with just short of 100 teams playing over the weekend.
Excellent football played across every age group showcasing the standard at grassroots level football is improving year on year.
